ARTICLE 7 – CLAIMS AND RETURNS

7.1 Legal Warranty of Conformity and Warranty Against Hidden Defects

All Products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity (Article L.217-4 and seq. of the Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Article 1641 and seq. of the Civil Code), allowing the Buyer to return defective or non-conforming Products.

In the event of delivery of a Product that is not in conformity with the order or reveals a hidden defect, the Buyer must return the Product to the address provided by WATTS and contact customer service in advance via email at the following address: contact@watts-team.com. In the case of non-conformity, return costs and any additional delivery for a replacement Product will be borne by WATTS.

It is the responsibility of the Buyer to retain proof of the return. WATTS may refuse to refund the Buyer or exchange the Product if WATTS has not received the returned Product and the Buyer cannot prove that it was sent back.

The Buyer may request a refund of the price of the ordered Product from WATTS. This refund will be processed within 30 days of WATTS receiving the returned Product, credited to the Buyer’s bank account used for the payment, to the PayPal account if the order was paid via PayPal, or to the gift card used for payment. WATTS will refund the returned Product at the price charged.

In any case, these provisions do not deprive the Buyer of the possibility of exercising their right of withdrawal, as stated in Article 7.2 below.

7.2 Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the Buyer has a period of 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the ordered Products to inform WATTS of their intention to return one or more Products without the need to justify reasons or pay penalties, except for the return shipping costs.

After this period, the delivered Products will be deemed accepted by the Buyer. WATTS may refuse to refund the Buyer if the Product has not been received and the Buyer cannot prove that it was returned. In this regard, it is the responsibility of the Buyer to retain proof of the return.

To facilitate the processing of the return request, the Buyer must include the return form sent by email after the return request and the delivery note included in the package, duly completed.

The Buyer will be refunded the full price of their order, except for delivery fees, within 30 days from the receipt of the returned Products by WATTS if the return is made via post.

The refund will be credited to the Buyer’s bank account corresponding to the credit card used for the payment, to the PayPal account if the order was paid via PayPal, or to the gift card used for payment.

7.3 Conditions for Returns

WATTS does not accept returns or exchanges for Products purchased from third-party retailers. If you wish to exchange or refund your purchases, you must return to the store where the purchase was made.

WATTS customer service only applies to Products purchased on the website www.watts-team.com.

Returned Products must be new, unused, in their original packaging, and with their tag attached. Any item returned without meeting these conditions will not be accepted. Upon receipt of the package, WATTS will assess the condition of the returned Product(s). No returns will be accepted if the returned Products have been visibly used or damaged by the Buyer, as such use or damage renders the Products unsellable.

If the return is refused by WATTS, the Products will be made available to the Buyer at their expense, and the Buyer cannot demand any compensation or refund, except for the later exercise of their warranty rights on the sold Products.
